Thanks for taking the time to visit
Who was Miriam? A colleague and a friend most will say. Mimi was full of life, spunky, loud, proud! A red-head fireball that just sparked energy from every pore. She was madly in love with her husband Roberto, with her Mother, with her cats. She worked hard. She had dreams. She was so much to so many people.
Unfortunately she was taken from us and her beloved Roberto by a sudden illness at the age of 44 last year on the 25th February 2011, a day i will always remember as our saddest moment as a team.
One day we were joking, the next she was gone.
Her death has touched all of us deeply and we miss her everyday.
The time is coming for Miriam's first anniversary and we want on Roberto's behalf to make it a positive one by helping a cause dear to Miriam's and Roberto's heart: The Children's Hospital Charity.
Roberto has asked Udine born Artist, graphic, humoristic cartoonist Giorgio Giaiotto http://giorgiogiaiotto.it/ to create a piece that is modern, stands out and leaves a mark to honour Mimi's personality and life.
Giorgio has been featured i many Italian newspapers during the 50's and 60's for his carttonist work. After having changed his craft to creative design, he started producing his trademark finger print painting since 1995 which have received international recognition and have been exhibited in many world Galleries.
The painting portrays Miriam's finger print- it marks her very presence into all of our herats and minds, everyday, bacause she was here and still is very much alive in our memories.
Giorgio Giaiotto puts his distinctive style into the painting by using a red canvas to resemble Mimi's signature red hair and her favourite lipstic! Then of course he depicts with masterful precision her finger tip, her stamp of existence.
We ask for your help to raise as many funds as possible to donate to Miriam and Roberto's favourite charity. Everything even little goes a long way to help this worthy cause!
E-mail me your details Name and number to be entered in the raffle for the painting.
