‘Thank you. Thank you very much!’

Elvis finally left the building on Sunday night but not before he’d help raise another £1,300 for our Amatrice appeal.

A massive thank you to everyone that attended our sell-out event that saw Nonnas proprietor Maurizio Mori perform his Elvis show.

The packed event now raises the Nonnas appeal total to an amazing £3,000 which is now on its way to help the Italian earthquake appeal.

Maurizio was backed by a steller line-up of musicians – former Simply Red bassist Shaun Ward, Shaun McLaughlin of the Sharp Cuts, renowned saxophone player Simon Peat, former Longpigs drummer Dee Boyle and guest singer Charlotte Branson.

Maurizio Mori said: “I have to thank our staff and everyone that helped and attended the night. It went better than I could have ever imagined. Elvis has now left the building… for 2016 at least.”
