Nonnas digs deep for earthquake appeal
Nonnas is putting its full weight behind the relief effort for the town of Amatrice.
Whilst many chefs around the world are making a donation for every dish of Amatriciana – the famous pasta dish that has its birthplace in the devastated area – we are going one better.
We’re donating £1 from every single pasta dish sold throughout September.
Please come along and show you support for “the town that no longer exists”.
Amatrice – which was close to the epi-centre of the quake – was virtually flattened by the disaster that caused almost 300 deaths.
Nonnas proprietor Maurizo Mori said: “The earthquake has been devastating for a small town that inspired one of the country’s most iconic dishes.
“It has been reassuring to see so many people around the world getting behind the appeal – I’m confident our customers will want to do all they can to help and support our efforts.”
Nonnas are also happy to accept larger donations for the appeal.
