Over the years Nonnas has had the privilege of employing some truly exemplary staff. 

They’ve captured the very essence of our brand and regularly gone above and beyond the call of duty.

So this year we started rewarding outstanding service on a regular basis with our Nonnas Employee of the Month Award.

Anya Fox is our December  winner from the kitchen side of the business.

She is our chef de partie and has risen through the ranks over the past few years and brings a wealth of experience from previous roles at the likes of the Wig & Pen and former Leopold Square venue Platillos

Anya is a great team player and, though born and bred in Sheffield, she has a great love of Italy and has enjoyed visits to the likes of Rome, Venice, Florence and more.

She loves her job and thinks Nonnas is so popular as it offers “a little escape from everyday life”.

Anya also likes her own escape from everyday life – she’s a big fan or horror! Thankfully there’s nothing horrible about her amazing culinary skills.
